E-Props 2-blade for Lycoming O-360 180 hp : work in progress 🙂

The first E-Props propeller in our range for direct-drive engines (named ASCALON) is now in production !
The first parts came off the molds yesterday.

The first one is a 2-blade ground-adjustable pitch for Lycoming O-360 180 hp
Diameter: 74.8″
Full carbon : blades, hub and spacer
Titanium leading edge protection

Ground tests on vibratory, tensile, bending and torsion tests benches will be completed very soon.
Since the tests on gear-drive engines described here :

… our test facilities have been upgraded and modernized.
New tests benches are being manufactured to meet EASA CS-P and FAA 14 CFR PART 35 standards.

Then the flight tests will take place on the aircraft E-Props recently purchased, with strain gauges connected to analyze blade behavior in all phases of flight.
