Your fixed-pitch propeller is too heavy ? Take a variable-pitch E-Props ! 🤣

The owner-pilot of a Flight Design CTSW with a Rotax 912S 100 hp engine chose an E-Props 3-blade Constant Speed Glorieuse to replace his ground adjustable (inflight fixed pitch) Neuform 2-blade.
Diameter : 170 cm / 66,9″, with spinner diameter 261 cm / 10.2″ and spacer length 5 mm / 0.2″.

Feedback : “I had a 3-blade Constant Speed Glorieuse from E-Props installed on my CTSW in place of my fixed pitch 2-blade Neuform.
The gain is around 1 kg (2.3 lb) :

• Neuform ground adjustable pitch = 5.7 kg / 12.6 lb
• E-Props CS Glorieuse = 4.7 kg / 10.3 lb including spinner, instrument and governor

First tests : the already good performance at take-off is even better, and at cruising speed I think I’ve increased cruise speed by 15 to 20 km/h = 8 to 10.8 kts“
