A clean propeller gives better performance

To clean your E-Props, you don’t need an expensive special product. Glass cleaner, multi-surface cleaner, or soap and water is great for cleaning dirt and bugs that get on the blades.
It is best to clean your blades right after the flight. Moisten the blades well with the chosen product and rub with a clean cloth.

WD-40 is also ideal for cleaning oil, dirt and insects from the blades. It’s best to clean your blades right after flying. Apply WD-40 to a cloth and rub gently.
The epoxy resin of the E-Props blades contains an anti-UV (UVA & UVB) protection additive. The parts remain very shiny throughout their life.

Sometimes there are some white marks on the blades or the spinner (also on other brands). These are surface marks, with no problem of mechanical strength or carbon embrittlement.
It’s only unaesthetic. You can fly for thousands of hours with these marks, without the slightest worry.
These white marks may be due to :

  • rainwater, if the aircraft has been left outside (with or without covers).
  • blade cleaning: due to the product used or the quality of the cleaning water.

To remove these marks, apply a coat of epoxy resin polish, such as that used on boats, or a very fine polishing paste.

Carbon has exceptionally long lifetimes. Of course, when the propeller doesn’t have aluminum parts (because if there is some parts in aluminium, there is a big risk of galvanic corrosion).
In E-Props, Carbon + Titanium means no risk, and very high TBO (4000 hours for the EASA-certified 3-blade).
