WPSC 25: France Dominates Other Nations
During the 7th World Paramotor Slalom Championships (WPSC), held from October 19 to 25, 2025, in Bornos, Spain, the French team clearly dominated the events, which took place in the magnificent Andalusian setting with the Sierra de Grazalema as a backdrop.
The French team successfully defended its world title, finishing ahead of Qatar and the Czech Republic, reaching the podium seven times and winning five gold medals, three silver, and two bronze. In doing so, France claimed five world titles, including the team gold medal and the Nations gold medal — results that confirm the exceptional level of French excellence in aerial sports.
It is worth noting that the French team is sponsored by the French equipment manufacturer E-Props, and that all paramotors were powered by E-Props propellers, which, in addition to the pilots’ undeniable sporting skills, seem to have provided them with a performance advantage during the events.
The year 2025 will be remembered as an outstanding sporting season for ULM (ultralight aviation), as all three French teams became world champions in the three disciplines recently recognized as elite: classic microlight, classic paramotor, and slalom paramotor. Looking ahead, new horizons are opening with the arrival of the STOL discipline, recently officially recognized by the FAI. It could soon enrich the French sporting landscape with the emergence of a fourth national team in the making.

Well done to all pilots and teams for their incredible performances and spirit — what a fantastic championship !
