Victory at Air Race Jasna 2026: SKYLEADER 600 wins with E-PROPS Glorieuse

A great result for SKYLEADER — and for E-PROPS!
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, Stanisław Drzewiecki took first place at AIR RACE JASNA in Slovakia, flying his SKYLEADER 600 TOUR RG equipped with a Rotax 912iS 100 hp engine and an E-PROPS Glorieuse Constant Speed propeller.

His recorded time of 02:12.76 put him clearly at the top of the standings, 4.40 seconds ahead of second place. WOW !

Air Race Jasna is a demanding pylon race where aircraft performance, precise flying and effective energy management all come together.
The winning aircraft configuration was:

Rotax 912iS — 100 hp
E-PROPS GLORIEUSE Constant Speed propeller

The Glorieuse is E-PROPS’ 3-blade Carbon-Titanium in-flight variable-pitch propeller range for Rotax 9xx engines. Its very low weight and Constant Speed system are designed to provide high performance throughout the different phases of flight.

Competition is an especially demanding environment for the complete aircraft propulsion system, with repeated acceleration, high power settings and rapid changes in flight conditions.

And this time, the SKYLEADER 600 / Rotax 912iS / E-PROPS Glorieuse combination finished on top.

There was another excellent result for the SKYLEADER team.

Factory pilot Radim Štěrba finished fourth with the SKYLEADER 400 MKIV CLUB, powered by a Rotax 912ULS 100 hp and equipped with an E-PROPS Durandal-3.

This means that two SKYLEADER aircraft equipped with E-PROPS propellers finished in the Top 4 of the 2026 race.

Of course, a race result is always the result of the complete package: aircraft, engine, propeller, setup — and above all, the skill of the pilot. But we are particularly pleased to see an E-PROPS Glorieuse at the front of the winning aircraft!

It is always rewarding for us to see E-PROPS propellers being used not only for everyday flying, but also in demanding competition conditions.

Air Race Jasna 2026 became one of my most intense and least expected aviation experiences.
The third edition combined pylon racing with a full-scale airshow featuring Red Bull Air Race World Champion Martin Šonka, Jan Sobotka, Viper Sky Box, an L-29 Delfín, giant jet models and a low fly-by by the Slovak Ministry Airbus A319; all against the spectacular backdrop of the Low Tatras.
Thirty pilots applied for the ultralight category and ten were selected, with a minimum requirement of 500 flight hours. Being among them already felt like a real honour, especially in a field containing manufacturer pilots and aircraft more powerful than my 100 hp Skyleader 600.
Each of the three laps lasted only around 40–45 seconds, but required complete concentration. Speed, height and bank at the gates were strictly controlled, while the low-level turns generated over 3g. With the terrain close below and pylons beside the aircraft, every meter of the line and every moment of the rollout mattered.
I practised the general geometry beforehand and then spent hours learning the actual course at Jasná using the pylons and ground references. Even so, before the race I was genuinely hands-shaking stressed. While people tried to talk to me, all I wanted was to close the canopy and concentrate. 🙈
Once airborne, the stress changed to focus. SP-SDRZ completed all three laps without a single penalty, recording 2:12.76 and securing first place in the UL category at Air Race Jasna 2026 – European Champions. I am still genuinely shocked.
My sincere thanks to the entire Skyleader team for their support and the wonderful atmosphere. Congratulations to Radim Štěrba for his great performance in the JA-400, and to Michal for an epic demonstration of his new Skyleader 600 GTR. Bringing this result home for the team made the experience even more special.

We were also very pleased to see another E-PROPS Glorieuse taking part in AIR RACE JASNA 2026, this time fitted to an ICP Ventura — another great opportunity to see our Constant Speed propeller flying in demanding race conditions.
