New ICP Savannah SR

ICP now offers a new reference in its catalog, a variant of the Savannah S designed to meet many of the European regulations limiting the MTOW to 600 kg with an increase in power, following the example of Germany, which has already approved the new Savannah SR. This new Savannah can be fitted with a Rotax 912 or 914 UL engine, as well as a larger parachute (Junkers 601).

Recommended propellers are 3-blade E-Props : ground adjustable pitch Durandal or inflight variable pitch Glorieuse. 😀

Visually, the Savannah SR is distinguished by an elongated metal cowling with two butterfly openings for easy controls. The doors are also striking, with a flush-fitting closure in a frame for improved watertightness. The shrouds are now connected in the airframe, as on the Ventura, a request regularly made by owners.
On the technical front, fuel capacity has been increased from 6 to 18 liters, in addition to the 72-liter (or 144-liter optional) fender volume.
The Savannah SR is already available and will be presented at the next AERO show in Germany (April 2024).
