E-Props on Seaplanes, WOW !

More and more seaplanes are fitted with E-Props.
Whether they have a hull or floats, they perform much better with these hi-tech propellers.

A good seaplane propeller should :
– offer very strong thrust on takeoff : with the specific E-Props profiles, takeoff is instant !
– have large diameters, to optimize take-off : E-Props are available up to 210 cm / 82.7 inch
– deliver excellent cruising speed: this is the case with the E-Props, ground or variable pitch models
– be made of a material that resists water and spray: carbon is perfect for this purpose
– not generate galvanic corrosion: this problem cannot exist on E-Props (no aluminum parts in contact with carbon)
– very solid leading-edge protection: E-Props have a 5/10th-thick titanium leading edge protection, which does not peel off
– be easy to repair: this is the case with E-Props
– be very light, as should be all propellers on all aircraft  ☺️
