E-Props is flying high

Winner of the Plan de Relance Territoires d’Industrie (as part of the deployment of the “France Relance” Plan presented by the French Government in September 2020), the company E-Props has received a grant of eight hundred thousand euros to start the construction of a new factory of 3000 m² for the manufacture of its propellers and composite parts for light aviation. The new structure, for which the building permit has already been filed, will be adjacent to the existing premises on the Sisteron-Vaumeilh airfield (LFNS) and will benefit from “intelligent” and eco-responsible technology, with solar panels on the roofs, geothermal heating and air conditioning, a waste reprocessing and recovery center, and, for the comfort of the employees, a canteen, a rest room and a sports room… The company, managed by Anne Lavrand, currently has 35 employees and will increase its workforce to 70 within 3 years. E-Props currently manufactures 45,000 carbon parts per year, with 87% of its production exported to 80 different countries; it plans to triple its turnover and produce 150,000 propellers annually in the near future.
