E-Props distributor in the USA Larry Mednick, president of the company EVOLUTION TRIKES, has installed a 3-blade DURANDAL-3 on a VAN’s RV-12 with Rotax 912S 100 hp, with a special pitot system on the spinner.
At the end of the video, the pilot makes some flight tests to define the best pitch.
Gain of performance: 200-300 FPM climb and 6-8 kts in cruise. The E-Props weights 5.2 lb (including spinner).
