Currently, the E-PROPS design department is working very hard on a wide range of propellers for direct drive engines (without gearbox).
Concerned engines: Continental, Lycoming, VW, UL Power, Limbach, Jabiru, D-Motor, Sauer…
Powers: from 50 hp to 300 hp

The aim is firstly to measure performance in detail, and then to carry out the endurance tests required by the EASA CS-P standard.
Releasing a new range that is much more efficient than what is currently on the market inevitably takes time.
To reach this target, we have developed an innovative software : LUKY SOFTWARE
This software is a model of the type lifting line for the speed of execution, in order to allow the exploration of the domain of possible propellers with the help of an evolutionary algorithm (metaheuristic), in order to automate the search for propeller solutions (mechanical and aerodynamic dimensioning) for a given problem.
Thousands of hours of code by highly specialized engineers were required. This software represents an exceptional step forward in the development of equally exceptional propellers.
You can be sure that we are doing our best to industrialize, test then market this range as soon as possible ! 🙂
